Petzl just announced that the Grigri 2 will make their way onto the shelves of USA gear shops in March 2011, right on schedule. They are set to ship to the European stores next week! To read a full review of the Grigri 2 check out what we had to say last year when we saw Petzl at the Nor’easter.
The Petzl Grigri 2 features a list of upgrades, including a smaller body making it about 20% lighter than the original Grigri, and it will now accept ropes as small as 8.9mm. Keep an eye out in your local gear shop, they will likely go quickly!
