Paradox Sports Ice Climbing Weekend in North Conway February 10-12!

“We can’t walk? OK, we’ll climb ice instead!” reads the first line of Paradox Sports‘ press release announcing their upcoming ice climbing weekend in North Conway, New Hampshire. Our friend Timmy O’Neill gave us a heads up about this incredible event, and we need your help to spread the word! From February 10-12 in North Conway, Paradox will be providing adaptive ice climbing clinics for all ability levels and all types of mobility limitations. There are still a few spots to fill!

From their press release:
There’s no hibernating by the fire this winter for Paradox Sports. We’re outside, putting our “disabilities” to good use climbing sheer walls of ice. We provide ice climbing weekends for disabled athletes and help them understand the adaptive equipment they need to climb. Our athletes then take that support and turn it into magic.

Paradox Sports is a nonprofit organization that gives instruction and adaptive equipment to the disabled community to get them psyched on climbing and other outdoor pursuits. While they’re based in Boulder, they’ve started to expand their offerings to folks in the Northeast, and we’re really stoked to have them in the area!

Sierra Club has partnered with Paradox to give away a free weekend pass to 10 military veterans. The cost for the entire weekend is only $200 and you can register here. Their anticipated schedule is as follows:
