Thanks Jarred, I’ll look it over and let you know.  As for events, yes!  We have a black light boulder bash on Nov 12 at our Lincoln location, to raise money for the Rumney Climbers Association and the Western Mass Climbers Coalition.  TONS of fun!  It’s sponsored by Harpoon and we do a full reset of the boulder for it.  We have an ABS local the next day, and then the biggest event ever is Dec 10th.  We’re hosting the Showdown, a Pro-Am bouldering competition with a last person standing format finals and $6,000 in cash and prizes.  I’ve attached the poster for both the BBB and the Showdown.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Dear Climberism,

I’m with the YMCA of Greater Manchester, New Hampshire, Climbing Team, and we are holding a Climb-a-thon on February 23rd to raise money for our “Reach Out For Youth Program.” We will have approximately 60 climbers participating!

This annual campaign provides opportunities for youth and families in our community who are in need of financial assistance to become members of the YMCA and participate in YMCA programs. Reach Out for Youth and Families also supports over 700 students who are at-risk of dropping out of school who attend START, an afterschool program for elementary school students at Beech and Wilson Street Schools located in the center city of Manchester, STAY alternative Middle School Program, and our STRIVE program for suspended and expelled students. Although we have been very successful in our endeavors to provide support to all who establish financial need, the disparity grows every year.

We are writing to ask if you would be willing to donate any climbing paraphernalia for prizes, such as magazine copies, posters, key chains, stickers, carabiners, tee-shirts, etc., to our Climb-a-thon. Also, we will be handing out a bigger prize to the participant who gets the most pledges, and were wondering if you were able to assist us with that as well, or if you could suggest any other resources for these. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event go directly to youth and families in our community that need it most.

    Donations can be sent to:

YMCA of Greater Manchester – Allard Center
    c/o Cyndi Murphy, Adventure Department
    116 Goffstown Road
    Goffstown, NH 03045

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated! If you would like to speak to me directly, my number is 603-566-8964. Please email, call or text me if you are able to contribute to our event. Thanks much for your consideration! We look forward to sharing the great success of this event with you!
