CRAG-VT 2012 Trail Day!

It’s TLC time for Bolton’s Lower West and 82 Crag’s trails. Join CRAG-VT on October 27 for some serious trail maintenance including trail reroutes and rock work at Bolton and then some drainage and rock work over at 82. They’re meeting rain or shine (so dress appropriately) at the Bolton Quarry for trail projects at Lower West Bolton and on the approach to the 82 Crag to divide and conquer. They’ll be providing trail tools and instruction around work projects, as well as grilled burgers and dogs, and ask that you try and carpool because parking at the Quarry is very limited!

What: Trail Day and Fundraiser
When: 9am – 4pm on Saturday, October 27, 2012
Where: Meet at the Bolton Quarry for trail projects at Lower West Bolton and on the approach to the 82 Crag
Why: Fun, food, and stewardship (and maybe a little bit of schwag!)

Important notes on parking:

  • Please try to carpool, as parking will be limited.
  • If the Quarry parking area is full, there are a few spaces available near the bottom of Green Mountain Road near a brown electric utility shed. Please DO NOT block access to the shed and DO park completely off the road.
  • Please DO NOT park anywhere else on Green Mountain Road as CRAG-VT seeks to be a good neighbor. If all spaces are full, please drop people off, then drive to Smilie Elementary School, park there and enjoy a walk to the Quarry.
